# Title Thread-waisted Wasp with Prey Description A female Thread-waisted Wasp (Ammophila procera) drags a paralyzed caterpillar over a concrete structure. She momentarily left the caterpillar on the structure and flew to her burrow a few meters away to memorize the distance and direction. She then flew back to retrieve the caterpillar, dragging it down the concrete structure then over the ground directly to the burrow.
