# Title Chinese Goose Description A Chinese Goose (Anser cygnoides domesticus) relaxes in a city park. The Chinese Goose, which appears in white and brown varieties, is a domesticated descendant of the wild Swan Goose; the large knob at the base of the bill is a characteristic feature. The white Chinese Goose is distinguished from the brown variety by its all-white plumage, orange legs, and orange bill. This individual possibly was brought to the park and abandoned by a human caretaker.
